The Edinburgh Marathon Festival junior races take place in Holyrood Park and give children and teenagers the chance to experience race day in the heart of Edinburgh. Distances include a Kids’ Kilometre for younger children alongside Junior 1.5K, 2K and 5K races for older age groups.
The traffic free routes pass through the scenic parkland surrounding Arthur’s Seat with panoramic views across the city and Edinburgh Castle.
