The Dunoon 10K Coastal Road Race is a classic road race held on the shores of the Firth of Clyde in Argyll. Organised under a Scottish Athletics permit, the event welcomes runners of all abilities to enjoy a fast, accurately measured 10K on one of Scotland's most scenic coastal routes.
The course follows the coast road from West Bay, heading south alongside the Firth of Clyde before turning to retrace the route back to the finish. Its flat profile and uninterrupted waterfront setting provide excellent conditions for personal best performances while offering continuous sea views throughout the race.
The event features chip timing, a commemorative finisher's medal, a branded technical T shirt and prizes across senior and veteran categories. Combining a fast course with spectacular coastal scenery and a friendly atmosphere, the Dunoon 10K Coastal Road Race has become a popular fixture in the Scottish summer road running calendar.
