The Dufftown 5 Mile/5 Hill is the second event in the Speyside Series, a popular programme of races showcasing the varied running terrain of Speyside. Held each summer in the heart of Scotland's whisky country, the race offers a distinctive combination of road running and challenging hill climbs.
The 5 Mile course starts and finishes on Hill Street in Dufftown, tackling five significant climbs around the town and surrounding countryside. The undulating route provides a demanding test of strength and endurance while rewarding runners with panoramic views across the Speyside landscape.
The event welcomes runners aged 16 and over and features a fully marshalled course with prizes for leading finishers. Combining a unique hilly course, friendly local atmosphere and its place within the Speyside Series, the Dufftown 5 Mile/5 Hill has become a popular fixture in the Moray summer running calendar.
