Results Organiser
The Derwent River Relays is a team relay event held at Belper Meadows Sports Club in Derbyshire. Teams of four runners each complete a 4.5K multi terrain leg before handing over to the next runner, creating a competitive and sociable event for clubs, friends and families. A free children's fun run takes place before the main relay.
The course follows a fully marshalled 4.5K route on a mixture of trails and paths around the River Derwent and surrounding parkland, using the event's traditional route. Teams compete in men's, women's, mixed and V45 categories, with fancy dress and novelty batons encouraged to add to the relaxed summer atmosphere.
Category winners receive bespoke medals, while refreshments are available at the event village throughout the day. Combining team competition, community spirit and scenic riverside running, the Derwent River Relays has become a popular summer fixture for runners of all abilities.
