Ramming Back Into June!
It's time to sign up for Derby’s biggest half marathon...
The wait is finally over with the announcement that Derbion Ramathon general entries are now open! So why not beat the January blues and set yourself a running challenge for 2024? Set to take place on Sunday 30 June, this year’s Ramathon will be the 10th staging of the ever-popular event.
Loved by runners in Derby and beyond, the Derbion Ramathon is one of the city's biggest and most loved half marathons. Thousands of participants of all abilities pound the streets every year to rise to the challenge, all with their own reasons and goals for taking part.
Starting and finishing on Iron Gate, in the shadows of Derby Cathedral, the 13.1-mile route takes in Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park and the stunning scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park. Speaking about the course, previous entrant, Helen Brown, said: "Thought the second half of the route through Elvaston Castle Park and along the river was very lovely and a nice change from the road. Great local support and very well staffed. A great experience for my first half."
A half marathon for all abilities, you can look forward to a goody bag of rewards at the finish line, including post-run treats and a hard-earned bespoke medal to show off with pride!
Whether you’re fundraising for a charity close to your heart, generating awareness of a meaningful cause or simply enjoy taking on a new challenge, you can be guaranteed a finish line feeling you’ll never forget.
