Fun For All at Crowle 10K

Get the kids running too at this year's Crowle 10K and junior races...

The 22nd edition of Worcestershire's Crowle 10K will take place on 12 May this year and will once again include events the whole family can be a part of with two Fun Run options also part of the day's proceedings.

Yes, whilst the adults have the 10K distance to get their teeth into, youngsters can go for glory in two Fun Runs – the Quarter Mile for under 9s and 1 Mile for under 16s. You can enter all these events online now, but organisers do say: "There will also be entries on the day for the junior races only, to allow for any spontaneous decisions!"

Well organised and well supported, the Crowle 10K is one of those races that appears in many a runner’s diary and, with an attractive rural course, BBQ and entertainment it is easy to see why.

The 10K starts at 11am from the Parish Hall - which is also the location for the finish - and begins with a lap of the field before heading out on a closed road course in and around the area. The route includes Sale Green, then it’s downhill onto Old Turnpike Road and into Crowle again with lively, enthusiastic spectators applauding the runners as they pass on their way to the finish.

There are prizes for the fastest runners in various categories, medals for all and best of all, tea, cakes and a BBQ: plenty of activities for children making this an ideal day out for families.
