Chase A New 10K This Spring

There's a new 10K on the Staffordshire race calendar this spring...

A brand new race is set to make its debut in Staffordshire this spring as the Church Eaton Chase 10K launches on 29 March. Set in the rolling dairy farming countryside around the picturesque village of Church Eaton, the event has been designed to capture the spirit of a traditional village run while welcoming runners of all abilities.

Organisers promise a friendly atmosphere, quiet country lanes and plenty of local charm, with the route taking participants on a scenic circular tour of the surrounding rural roads.

The morning will begin with a Children’s Fun Run before the main 10K gets underway, giving younger runners the chance to be part of the day. Adding a touch of personality to the occasion, Percy the Peacock will be proudly leading the way as the event’s colourful mascot.

The start line will be at Church Eaton Cricket Club, where breakfast baps and refreshments will be available, creating a hub for runners and supporters alike. The race will finish at the Royal Oak, where food will be served from noon, making it easy to turn race day into a full village outing.

Organisers say: "Every penny of profit from the 10K will go to charity, adding an extra reason for runners to come together and enjoy a morning of scenic miles and plenty smiles!"
