Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland

Make your miles count by joining Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland at the Great Scottish Run!

One of Scotland's biggest and best road races, the Great Scottish Run attracts more and more people each year. The 2019 event will take place on Sunday 29 September and you can make your event all the more rewarding by joining the Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Running Team!

All money you raise will make a difference to lives across Scotland. But don’t just take our word for it.

Alasdair McArthur took part in the Great Scottish Run in honour of his dad, after learning first-hand about the difference support from the charity makes.

“Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is special to me due to the support they offered to myself and the family when my dad had his initial stroke. Sadly a year later my dad eventually passed away from a second stroke however this charity helped us through those tough times, and I really want to help give something back.

“So far running I’ve raised over £6,800 for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland and these funds are going towards other people impacted by chest, heart and stroke conditions and their families.”

One in five of the population are now living with a chest, heart or stroke condition. Any amount that you raise will mean that support is there for people when they need it.

We'd love to hear from you if you already have an entry or if you would like one of our charity places.
