Running Never Tasted So Sweet

Birmingham’s tastiest fun run returns next spring...

Entries have just opened for one of the Midland's tastiest events, the award-winning Chocolate 5K will make its return on 23 March 2024 and in the words of race organisers: "don't be a Flake and sign up for Birmingham's tastiest fun run!"

The event is organised by Birmingham Hospice and by signing up to The Chocolate 5K and fundraising, you will help to make every moment matter for local people living with a terminal diagnosis, and their families. What better way to support your local hospice than doing something sweet in spring and running, jogging or walking 5K, picking up chocolately treats as you go?

Taking place at Rowheath Pavilion, the Chocolate 5K is far from your ordinary fun run! Get ready to set off on your chocolate-filled adventure, where you’ll journey through the scenic streets of Bournville, finding tasty pit stops and collecting sweet surprises every kilometre. This event is fun for all the family and your furry friends! This family-friendly fun run through scenic Bournville promises lots of chocolatey goodness along the way, all in support of local people living with a terminal diagnosis, and their loved ones.

Organisers say: "We welcome participants of all ages and fitness levels; you can walk, jog or run your way around the chocolately course at your own pace with your friends, family or solo! You’ll arrive at Rowheath Pavilion (B30 1HH) from 10am, ready to set off on your chocolate-filled adventure at 11am.
