Chasewater Christmas Pudding Dash

Chasing Christmas

Plenty of distance options on offer at this weekend's Chasewater Christmas Pudding Dash...

Will you be dashing through the streets of Staffordshire's Chasewater Country Park this weekend? The annual Chasewater Christmas Pudding Dash is back this Sunday (10 December) and there are still slots available for those looking for some festive fun.

With a choice of 10K and 5K as well as a Children’s Santa Dash there are distances to make the whole family happy at this scenic 90 hectare country park. The venue offers plenty of open space and is a popular visitor attraction - perfect to make a day of it post race.

Organised by Nice Work, the races start just outside the Innovation Centre. After a short loop around the Centre, runners will head clockwise around the reservoir and cover two laps for 10K and one lap for the 5K race. Due to the multi terrain nature of the event, organisers are unable to get a certificate of course accuracy, but the route is as close to 10K/5K that GPS technology will allow!

Organisers say: "A Christmas cracker of a race - you won't want to miss it! Grab those running shoes and your best festive game-face and dress up as your favourite festive character to join us in celebrating the festive season."

Adding to the festivities there will be delicious goodies and mince pies on offer plus a special festive medal and Christmas pudding to all finishers. There will also be prizes on offer for leading runners and age category winners.
