The CapTEN & Bosun is a pair of challenging fell races based at Seatown on the Jurassic Coast in West Dorset. Both routes explore the dramatic coastal landscape around Thorncombe Beacon and Golden Cap, one of the highest points on the south coast of England.
Runners can tackle the longer CapTEN or the shorter Bosun, with both races featuring substantial climbing across steep and demanding coastal terrain. The routes follow sections of the South West Coast Path and reward the climbs with extensive views across the Jurassic Coast.
Organised by local club runners, the event is designed for runners looking for a demanding fell race in a spectacular coastal setting. Both distances start from Seatown and share the distinctive climbs and rugged terrain that have become central to the event.
