Two Plus Two Makes Lots Of Fun

Two new distances on offer at this popular Staffordshire trail event...

A classic trail race from Nice Work will return in 2025 with two extra distances on offer. The Cannock Chase Forest event will see runners compete in one of four distances over a strenuous yet scenic course designed for a challenge on 9 February in Staffordshire's scenic Cannock Chase Forest.

Organisers say: "Join us for a spellbinding trail race through dappled sunlight. And, with two additional distances to choose from, it's a going to be a corker! You told us that you would like to see more race day options and so, to delight your soul and senses, we have included two additional distances for our 2025 race day offering."

The event now comes with a choice of four distances - 20, 15, 10 and 5 miles, all of which will follow the demanding but delightful trails and footpaths within Cannock Chase, and include a few steep but satisfying inclines.

Those completing a 20 Mile distance will run four laps, those completing the 15 Mile distance will complete three laps whilst the 10 Mile distance is two laps the 5 Mile race is one lap only. The route will be quiet and with no vehicle traffic; it's racing at its best!

Organisers promose a 'beautiful and challenging course with some hills, but spectacularly rewarding and well worth every step'! And there will be a bespoke medal for all finishers and trophies/prizes for a variety of categories.
