Budleigh Blister is a scenic trail running event organised by Exmouth Harriers in Budleigh Salterton, Devon. Formerly known as the Bicton Blister, the event features an approximately 10 Mile main race and a shorter 5 Mile Blister Lite, both starting from Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club.
The off road routes take runners through the East Devon countryside, following a mixture of woodland trails, uneven paths and sections of the South West Coast Path. With challenging hills, varied terrain and coastal views, the Budleigh Blister provides a rewarding trail running experience. The shorter Blister Lite shares much of the main course, making it a good option for runners seeking a shorter challenge.
All finishers receive a memento, with prizes awarded to leading runners and age category winners. The main 10 Mile race forms part of the Instep Series and has a strict cut off time of two hours and fifteen minutes. Race parking is located at Lyme Kiln car park, with both distances starting from the cricket club.
