BTR & Barry's Unite In Liverpool
Barry's Liverpool joins forces with BTR Liverpool as official training partner for 2025...
Merseyside race event organiser BTR Liverpool has announced a new partnership with Barry’s Liverpool which will run throughout 2025. This new partnership will include supporting participants in improving fitness, speed, and performance in classes and through running tips shared online.
The boutique fitness studio - home to the world’s original strength and cardio interval training workout - has a global reputation as ‘The Best Workout In The World’. An expert trainer team from Barry’s Liverpool will host a series of free community classes to enable race participants to experience an iconic Barry’s workout for themselves; paid for training programmes geared to run alongside specific BTR races; as well as attending BTR events throughout the year to engage with runners on race day.
Alan Rothwell, Race Director at BTR Liverpool, commented: “Welcoming Barry’s Liverpool on-board as Official Training Partner 2025 is going to be a fantastic addition to our event offer. Professional guidance and support will be available for BTR runners who are keen to increase their fitness, race time, or distance. We’ll be announcing regular updates so watch this space.”
Sandy Macaskill, co-founder of Barry’s UK, added: “We’re thrilled to become the Official Training Partner for the BTR Liverpool portfolio for 2025. Our values are work hard, have fun, find your strength, and be your best - and we feel that totally aligns with the BTR running community.
“Our signature workout and philosophy hasn’t changed since we opened our first studio in LA in 1998 – because it works. The endurance and mental stamina you get from a Barry’s class gives you the tools to take on anything you set your mind to. It helps you build resilience and confidence, and most importantly, it’s fun. This is why our clients in Liverpool come back time and time again."
First race in this year’s event calendar is for the BTR Liverpool Half Marathon and 10 Miler on Sunday 23 March 2025. Limited half marathon entries remain as entries have now exceeded 10,000. The 10 Miler has already sold out.
