Bobble Wobble Running

Bobble Wobble Run brings cosy festive fun to Manchester this December...

Runners are invited to embrace the festive spirit on 6 December as Phoenix Running hosts its very first Bobble Wobble Run along the River Mersey towpath. Starting from Hardy Farm in Chorlton, the event promises a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a brand new look for the Manchester edition of the popular Phoenix series.

The Bobble Wobble Run follows Phoenix Running’s signature flexible format, allowing participants to 'rock up and run' any time from 8am onwards without the pressure of a fixed start time. Runners can decide their distance on the day, completing as few or as many laps as they wish, with a minimum distance of 3.28 miles and a maximum of seven hours to cover as far as they can manage.

The course is a scenic, flat, and fast off-road trail route along the towpaths of the River Mersey and through Chorlton Water Park, making it ideal for both experienced runners and those new to endurance-style events. A super cosy bobble hat and finisher’s medal will be rewarded to each finisher as part of their entry.

This year’s chosen charity is Flock and Fluff, an organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted or abandoned animals, from cats and chickens to horses and alpacas, giving them a second chance at life.
