The Big Bear Run 10K takes place from Askham Bryan Wildlife Park near York and combines a scenic closed road race with fundraising for the conservation of Asiatic black bears. The accurately measured course starts and finishes within the grounds of Askham Bryan Wildlife Park before heading onto closed rural roads through the picturesque villages of Askham Richard and Bilbrough. The event features chip timing, a themed finisher's medal, post race refreshments and entry to Askham Bryan Wildlife Park after the race.
