Run in the shadow of one of the country's most impressive castles at The Belvoir Castle Run Races which will once again include half marathon and 10K distances as well as a new 5K option for 2024.

The Belvoir Castle Multisport weekend will see the running element of the event take place on 31 August this year. Speaking about the addition of a 5K distance, organisers say: "The aim is to keep striving to make this event truly inclusive and there really is an option for everyone now!"

The route starts in the centre of the epic estate's grounds, surrounded by ancient trees and pretty landmarks. Participants will be inspired by the history of the land as they take in the sights of this atmospheric iconic estate and the best of British countryside.

The course takes runners up close to the magnificent castle, running alongside scenic tree lined roads, sweeping down towards a small section of hard pack trail and grass. There is a turning point at the old estate entrance and it is here that those running will be rewarded with breathtaking, panoramic views of the countryside and the stunning view of Belvoir Castle beyond. It's downhill to the finishline where the castle provides a momentous backdrop for a free finisher's photo.

There are plenty of places for spectators to cheer on friends and family inside the spectacular estate. And if you all want to make a real weekend then there are options to camp on the estate, the camping spots enjoy stunning views across the estate up to the grand castle.

Speaking about the inclusivity of their events, a spokesperson from Endorphin Sports said: "We do not impose cut off times as we understand the pressure it can put you under and we'd rather you enjoy the scenery and enjoy your event! This means you will receive an official time regardless!"
