The Auchterarder Running Festival Double Dare combines the festival's 10K and Half Marathon into a two day road running challenge. Both races start and finish at The Community School of Auchterarder, with scenic routes exploring the Perthshire town and surrounding countryside.
Runners complete the 10K on Saturday before returning for the Half Marathon on Sunday, bringing the added challenge of racing on consecutive days. Both road courses are accurately measured by Scottish Athletics and supported by marshals and water stations, with cut off times of 1 hour 45 minutes for the 10K and 3 hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon.
Double Dare participants complete both of the festival's main races and receive the individual finisher rewards for each distance alongside an additional Double Dare memento. The back to back format creates a distinctive weekend challenge while retaining the atmosphere and character of the two individual Auchterarder races.
