Pacific Ashford 10K is organised by Ashford & District Road Running Club, with race management provided by Nice Work. One of Kent's longest established road races, the event has been held for more than 35 editions.
Starting on Sandyhurst Lane near Kennington, the accurately measured 10K follows undulating tarmac country lanes through the countryside surrounding Westwell. The route combines rural scenery with a succession of gentle climbs and descents, providing a varied road racing challenge for club athletes and recreational runners alike.
Race headquarters are based at The Towers School, approximately five minutes' walk from the start, with parking and refreshments available. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, while cash prizes are awarded to leading runners and additional prizes recognise age category winners. The event also supports Pilgrims Hospices, which provides specialist care for people with incurable illnesses across East Kent.
