'This Is A Call To Action'

Ollie Ollerton invites you to the inaugural Dry January 10K...

You wouldn't argue with SAS Who Dares Wins anchor Ollie Ollerton. So why not answer his 'Call to Action' and sign up for the inaugural Alcohol Change UK Dry January 10K, powered by BreakPoint, based at the stunning Pippingford Park, Nutley in Ashdown Forest, right in the heart of Sussex.

The organisers invite you to kick start the year and celebrate completing your personal Dry January mission by exchanging the cost of your bar tab for a race bib in Alcohol Change UK Dry January 10K on Sunday 28 January 2024. Immerse yourself in this motivational video to start your journey...

This is so much more than just another 10K trail race. Your entry is the gateway to a dedicated Facebook group. Here, you can connect with fellow participants, share your highs and lows, and draw inspiration from Ollie's first-hand experiences and insights. And just when you need that extra boost, you can tune into live mentoring sessions hosted by Ollie, designed to reignite your commitment and keep you on track.

Ollie, who will be leading his BreakPoint Ops Team for the Dry January 10K trail run, says: “We are so excited to bring this event to Pippingford in the New Year. By combining the physical trial of a 10K run with the mental challenge of Dry January, this is an experience that delivers real, long-lasting change. It’s not just about fitness, it’s about fortitude. The tools BreakPoint uses to help people break free from mental constraints align seamlessly with the goals of Alcohol Change UK. They help people see it for what it really is – a choice, not a necessity.”

Co-founder and brainchild of Dry January 10K, Dean Newman, had found himself trapped in a web of alcohol and drug dependency. Now living a life of sobriety and passionate about driving change and empowering others to live healthier lives, he says: “Alcohol is the backdrop to our lives, we celebrate with it, we mourn with it. But when do we ask ourselves, what is this doing to me? Ultimately, it’s about taking back the power and breaking away from dependency.”

Love Island star and now on a journey of sobriety, Scott Thomas, and comedian Dan O’Reilly, AKA Dapper Laughs, are just two of the names headlining the event. So are you ready to get fit, raise funds, challenge your relationship with alcohol, commit to 31 days alcohol-free and start 2024 with positive actions and healthy decisions?
