Aire Trail Ultra is a trail ultra starting and finishing at Piglove By The River in Leeds. The approximately 43 to 45K route follows public footpaths and riverside trails, passing alongside St Aidan's Nature Reserve and visiting Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve on a fast, predominantly flat course with excellent trail conditions.
Organised by Great Owl Running, the event also includes the Super Trail Half over approximately 22K. The fully marked course is supported by multiple water stations and bag storage at race headquarters, with all finishers receiving a locally made medal and a complimentary pint from Piglove Brewery.
The route follows the River Aire through peaceful waterside landscapes and varied trail scenery, combining accessible terrain with rewarding views. Its scenic setting and welcoming atmosphere make Aire Trail Ultra a memorable summer challenge in West Yorkshire.
