Leeds Abbey Dash is organised by Run For All and is one of the UK's best-known 10K road races, bringing together mass participation runners and an elite field in the heart of Leeds.
Starting and finishing on Wellington Street, the fast and flat out-and-back course heads along Kirkstall Road towards Cardigan Fields and the historic ruins of Kirkstall Abbey. Runners turn near the Abbey before passing Abbey House Museum and returning towards the city centre.
The closed-road course has a long-standing reputation for producing fast times and personal bests and hosts the England Athletics 10K Championships. The race is chip timed, with pacers, water stations, medical support and enthusiastic crowds along the route. Finishers receive a medal and goody bag.
