5K, Check. Beer, Check, Challenge, Check!
This race is perfect for those who love to keep active and enjoy a drink...
Fancy a stubby with your 5K? That's what is on offer at this Greater Manchester race experience which will see runners take on a 5K course with drinking stations, obstacles and lots of fun guaranteed.
The 5K Beer Challenge will take place on 5 October in the beautiful, leafy suburbs of Bowdon's countryside. Starting and finishing at Bowdon Rugby club, participants will run two laps of a 2.5K circuit through wild fields, woodland and paths.
During the run there will be drinking stations that provide runners with beer, water, cider, Prosecco and wine to 'refuel' with. Drinks are included every kilometre and those taking part can decide how much to drink.
Not only that, but there is also the chance to test your fitness with an inflatable and non-inflatable obstacles course. The tyre run, walk the line, hay bales, inflatable course and the crawler will take you out of your comfort zone. It is perfect for thrill-seekers and fitness enthusiasts.
Organisers say: "Our event combines a fun run with drinking beer and overcoming obstacles. It's the perfect way to stay healthy while enjoying a good time with friends. Our unique obstacles, make this race the ultimate challenge for thrill-seekers and fitness enthusiasts alike."
