3K On The Green June Cancelled

The June race in the 3K on the Green series returns to Glasgow Green for another opportunity to race over a fast, accurately measured 3K course. Held on the last Friday of the month, the series has become a popular fixture for runners of all abilities, offering a welcoming atmosphere and an ideal setting to test fitness throughout the summer.

Starting and finishing at the McLennan Arch, the flat out and back route follows the banks of the River Clyde on smooth tarmac paths. The traffic free course is well suited to experienced runners chasing fast times while also providing an accessible and supportive event for newcomers and recreational runners.

Every participant receives an official finishing time, with the low cost entry helping to raise money for charity. Combining a simple format, friendly organisation and a quick city centre course, the June race is another highlight in this well established Glasgow running series.
