Organised by Sporting Events UK, the Wye King Challenge returns in August 2026 with a choice of multi-terrain 10K or Half Marathon routes from Wye Village Hall & Recreation Ground. The event takes place in the beautiful village of Wye, between Canterbury and Ashford, offering runners a scenic summer challenge.

The routes follow picturesque country lanes, paths and trails through the surrounding countryside, with views across the valley and the famous chalk crown carved into the hillside. The multi-terrain courses provide a mixture of surfaces and a rewarding rural running experience.

The event features chip timing, toilets, refreshments and a mini event village atmosphere for runners, friends and family to enjoy after the race. Finishers can relax with food and drink while celebrating their achievement with fellow runners.
