The Workington Summer 5K Series Race 3 is the third event in a popular four-race summer series organised from Workington Cricket Club. The officially measured 5K course follows a fast out-and-back route, mainly on traffic-free cycle paths, making it ideal for runners aiming for a personal best as well as those looking for a friendly midweek race.
Chip timing is provided, with prizes awarded to the top three male and female finishers at each race, while runners also earn points towards the overall series standings.
