The Wirral Summer Trail Series July is organised by Run True and takes place at Wirral Country Park in Thurstaston. The July event is one of five races in the Wirral Summer Trail Series, held on the third Tuesday of each month from April to August, with runners competing for overall series honours.
The approximately 8K course follows the same scenic trail route used throughout the series, taking runners around the varied paths and trails of Wirral Country Park. The undulating off road course provides a fast and enjoyable summer evening run in a picturesque coastal setting.
The event is held under UK Athletics Rules with a Trail Running Association permit and welcomes runners aged 16 and over. Marshals and well organised race management help create an enjoyable race evening, with trophies awarded for the overall series based on competitors' best four results from the five races.
