Race 3 of the Seaside Series takes place on the Wirral coast near Leasowe Lighthouse in Moreton. Organised by Pensby Runners, the long established series features monthly 5K races from March to August and has become a popular fixture in the Merseyside running calendar.
The flat and fast route follows the sea embankment from Leasowe Lighthouse towards Harrison Drive with uninterrupted coastal running throughout. Popular with club runners, beginners and runners chasing a PB, the race combines a simple point to point course with a relaxed and welcoming seaside atmosphere.
