The Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series brings Half Marathon and 10K trail racing to the heart of Delamere Forest in Cheshire. Starting near the forest visitor centre, both distances explore the extensive woodland and natural surroundings of one of the North West’s popular trail running locations.
Runners follow a challenging course across forest paths and more technical trails, with rolling terrain, steep climbs and sections that can become muddy underfoot. The 10K completes one lap of the course, while Half Marathon runners take on two laps, with a fully marked route, marshals and aid stations supporting participants along the way.
Separate canicross options allow runners to tackle either the Half Marathon or 10K with their dogs, with dedicated starts ahead of the main fields. The event also includes chip timing, a fully marked and marshalled course, aid stations and event photography, with every finisher receiving a medal after completing their chosen distance.
