The Westbury Wipeout is a junior multi terrain adventure run held in the grounds of Blaise Castle Estate in Bristol. Open to runners aged 8 to 15, the event offers a choice of 2K or 3K routes that encourage young participants to enjoy an exciting outdoor challenge in a safe and fully marshalled environment.
The course winds through woodland, streams and hills, with runners tackling muddy trails, water crossings, steep descents, scrambling banks and natural obstacles along the way. Featuring imaginative sections including Roman Ramparts, Shark Lagoon, Crocs Leap and Trolls Bridge, the route is designed to emphasise adventure, resilience and fun rather than speed.
The event is untimed, with every finisher receiving a commemorative T shirt and all participants recognised for completing the challenge. Combining outdoor adventure, teamwork and confidence building in a unique woodland setting, the Westbury Wipeout has become a popular summer event for young runners.
