Witterings Beach Run is a coastal running event at West Wittering Beach in West Sussex, with 5K, 10K and 15.3K distances. Set along the Blue Flag coastline, the routes feature wide sandy expanses and views towards Selsey Bill, the Isle of Wight, Chichester Harbour, the Solent and the South Downs.
Runners follow flat routes with very little elevation, making the event an accessible introduction to beach running as well as an opportunity to run quickly across the firm sand at low tide. The 15.3K extends beyond the beach to include a loop through Medmerry Nature Reserve on wide gravel paths, adding extra variety to the longest distance.
Witterings Beach Run is a scenic West Sussex beach race combining coastal running, flat terrain and panoramic sea views. All three distances are chip timed and fully signed, with water stations, course marshals and finish line goodies, while Canicross options are also available across each distance.
