The West Acre Wild 10K Challenge is an off road race through the countryside surrounding West Acre in Norfolk. Starting and finishing beside The Stag, the route heads away from the village onto a mixture of bridle paths, farm tracks and woodland trails.

Runners face an undulating 10K course with changing terrain throughout. Most of the race is on generally firm rural tracks, although sections can become wet and muddy following rainfall. Optional obstacles add another element to the challenge, while the route crosses the West Acre fords shortly before the finish, with a narrow walkway available for runners who prefer to keep their feet dry.

A water station is positioned around the halfway point and runners with dogs are welcomed with their own earlier start. Every finisher receives a bespoke West Acre Wild Stag medal, with refreshments available back at the event headquarters after completing the course.
