Alexandra Park 5K & 10K October

The Alexandra Park 5K and 10K takes place in one of Glasgow's established city parks, with both distances following a 2.5K lap through the park's leafy surroundings and open spaces. The 5K completes two laps while the 10K covers four, giving runners repeated views across Alexandra Park as they progress through their chosen distance.

Runners follow a fully marked and marshalled course, with kilometre markers and hydration stations providing support along the way. Both the 5K and 10K start together and are chip timed, making the event suitable for runners working towards a target time as well as those simply looking to enjoy an organised run in a scenic Glasgow park. Friendly marshals are positioned around the route to provide guidance and encouragement throughout.

The programme also includes a 2.5K Kids Race and a short Toddler Dash, giving younger runners an opportunity to get involved in the event. Finishers receive a medal and goody bag, while the combination of a welcoming atmosphere, accessible park setting and range of distances creates an inclusive running event for different ages and experience levels.
