Ultra X England is a trail running event based in Edale in the Peak District National Park. The Saturday races take runners deep into the surrounding countryside on challenging routes shaped by the area's open moorland, ridgelines and limestone valleys.
Runners can tackle the 112K as a continuous single stage ultra or begin the two stage 112K challenge, while the 61K provides a shorter ultra distance. The routes feature substantial climbing, with 4,384m of elevation across the 112K and 2,423m across the 61K.
The courses are fully marked and supported by checkpoints providing water and snacks, alongside medical and event support. With long climbs, exposed sections and varied trails, the event provides a demanding journey through some of the Peak District's distinctive landscapes.
