Ultra Tour Yorkshire Dales is organised by Due North Events and offers challenging 25K and 50K trail races through the Yorkshire Dales National Park, starting in Grassington.
The routes explore spectacular Dales countryside, with steep climbs, remote moorland, rocky trails and sections of the Dales Way. The 50K takes runners towards Malham Tarn, Arncliffe, Buckden and Kettlewell, with approximately 1,260m of climbing. The shorter 25K follows a separate fixed route of approximately 27K, with around 585m of ascent.
Both distances welcome runners and walkers and require navigation skills, with GPX routes provided rather than conventional course marking. The 50K allows route choice between mandatory checkpoints, while 25K participants must follow the prescribed course. GPS tracking, aid stations and a hot meal at the finish are included, with the demanding terrain and exposed conditions making appropriate equipment essential.
