2020 EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS
The Trunce is a 4.5 mile cross-country race held every 3 weeks in the summer months. It starts and finishes at the Oxspring Playingfield by the Waggon and Horses pub. The Trunce has been an annual event since 1968, and was started by Gordon Davies, as a training run for Stocksbridge Steel football team. It regularly attracts runners from a wide area bounded by Doncaster, Huddersfield, and Barnsley.
