The Tromsø Mountain Challenge offers a choice of 50K ultra, 25K and 8K races through the dramatic Arctic landscapes surrounding Tromsø. The mixed terrain routes cross mountains, plateaus and technical trails before finishing with a spectacular descent through Tromsdalen to TUIL Arena, delivering outstanding views across Northern Norway.
Organised by the Midnight Sun Marathon Foundation, the event forms part of a two day trail running festival showcasing the region's mountain terrain. The 50K starts at Snarbyeidet, while the 25K begins at TUIL Arena, with both routes finishing at TUIL Arena after traversing the Arctic landscape.
