The Leith Hill Half Marathon is a challenging trail race from Dorking to the summit of Leith Hill, the highest point in south-east England, before returning to the finish.
The 13.1-mile cross-country course tackles around 1,800ft of elevation and follows scenic trails through the Surrey Hills. Long climbs, steep descents and varied off-road terrain make this a demanding Half Marathon, rewarded by extensive views from Leith Hill and attractive woodland and countryside along the route.
Now in its 20th year, the race has established itself as a distinctive fixture on the off-road running calendar and was previously named Best Race in Britain by Runner's World. The event is chip timed, with a marked and marshalled course, aid stations and a finisher medal.
