The South West Spartan Race takes place at Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire, where runners tackle Beast, Super and Sprint obstacle course races across woodland, open countryside and rolling parkland. Despite being one of Spartan's flattest UK venues, the course still includes natural undulations and signature obstacles that test strength, endurance and resilience.
Participants can choose from the 21K Beast, 10K Super, 5K Sprint or the Spartan Kids Race, with all courses featuring professionally designed obstacles, wave starts, chip timing and the opportunity to earn Spartan finisher medals and Trifecta progress. The historic Badminton Estate provides an impressive backdrop for one of the UK's most accessible Spartan weekends.
