Tough Mudder Manchester is an obstacle running event at the Cheshire County Showground near Knutsford. The course makes use of the showground’s rolling fields and natural terrain, combining cross country running with mud, water and a succession of purpose built obstacles designed to test strength, stamina and teamwork.
The main 15K challenge features more than 20 obstacles, while the shorter 5K course includes more than 12. Runners can expect constantly changing conditions as sections of running across open ground are broken up by climbing, crawling, carrying and water based challenges. Tough Mudder places a strong emphasis on participants helping one another through the obstacles rather than focusing solely on finishing time.
Tough Mudder Manchester provides a distinctive obstacle racing challenge in the Cheshire countryside, with 15K and 5K options allowing participants to choose their level of difficulty. Rolling terrain, muddy running and signature Tough Mudder obstacles create a demanding test beyond a conventional running race, while a separate Kids Adventure gives younger participants their own obstacle experience.
