Organised by South Devon Athletic Club, the South Devon 3K Relays take place at Torbay Velopark, Clennon Valley, Paignton. The event is a 4 x 3 kilometre (approximately) road relay, where teams of four runners each complete a lap of the smooth 1500m circuit before tagging the next team member.
The fast, flat tarmac course provides excellent racing conditions, with the entire circuit visible to spectators from the central viewing area. The event attracts teams from across the South West, including junior, senior and veteran runners, creating a lively club racing atmosphere.
Prizes are awarded across a range of categories including junior, senior, veteran, super veteran, vintage and longstayer teams, with a mixed team prize also available. Refreshments, music and race commentary help create a memorable evening for runners and supporters.
