The Richmond Family and Kids' Mile is a fun running event held on the grass of Old Deer Park in Richmond. The programme includes a Family Mile where adults and children can run together, followed by dedicated races for younger runners.
The Kids' Mile groups children by school year, allowing them to run alongside others of a similar age. Older children complete the full 1 mile course, while younger children from Year 2 through to Reception take on a 500m loop, with all races held on flat grass and chip timed.
The Family Mile welcomes the whole family, including buggies and pets, with children under eight accompanied by an adult. Every finisher receives a medal and goodies, creating an accessible and family focused introduction to organised running.
