The Tufty Trail Race is an approximately 5 mile event organised by Falkland Trail Runners in the surroundings of Falkland Estate. Starting near Strathmiglo Village Hall, the route follows trails and paths through the estate before returning to the village.
Runners begin by climbing from Strathmiglo towards the Lomonds before completing a loop on forest trails through Drumdreel Woods. The course then turns back downhill for a fast return towards the start, creating a varied trail race with climbing, woodland running and a quicker final section.
Race headquarters are at Strathmiglo Village Hall, where number collection, toilets and bag storage are available. All finishers receive a race memento, with post race refreshments provided in the hall and prizes awarded across overall and age categories.
