The Tideswell Terminator is a challenging fell race set in the heart of the Peak District, starting and finishing in the Derbyshire village of Tideswell.
The 9.1K route takes runners out of the village and across open fields towards Litton before descending into the valley surrounding the distinctive limestone landmark of Peter's Stone.
From the valley floor, runners face a steep climb towards the trig point on Hay Cop above Wardlow. The course then descends towards Cressbrook before another demanding ascent brings competitors back towards Litton.
The final section returns to Tideswell, with the finish at Bishop Pursglove Primary School.
With approximately 283m of climbing, the race combines steep ascents, technical descents and varied underfoot conditions, making it a demanding challenge over a relatively short distance.
The event is held under a Fell Runners Association permit, with advance entry required and a minimum age of 16.
