Testway Ultra is a point-to-point trail ultra marathon held in Hampshire, following the Test Way National Trail from Linkenholt towards Totton. The route covers open countryside, rolling farmland, riverside paths, and quiet rural tracks, offering a continuous long-distance challenge across varied terrain.
The event features two distances, a 50 mile ultra and a 40 mile option. Both follow the same established footpath and are fully marked. Aid stations are positioned roughly every 10 miles, supporting runners with food and drinks throughout the course.
The race starts at Linkenholt Activity Centre near Andover. It is known for steady elevation changes rather than technical trail sections, making it a sustained endurance effort rather than a highly technical mountain race. A 14 hour cutoff applies across the event.
A shuttle service is available between the finish and start for an additional fee, supporting the point-to-point format.
