The Rougemont Chase is organised as part of the annual Weeton Show and takes place at Weeton Showground near Leeds, North Yorkshire. The event welcomes runners aged 18 and over, offering a multi-terrain challenge through the picturesque Wharfedale countryside as part of one of Yorkshire’s traditional country shows.
The course starts and finishes in the main show ring and covers approximately 7.4km (4½ miles). Runners follow a fully marshalled and signed route along quiet country lanes, tracks and footpaths, providing a varied multi-terrain experience suitable for beginners and experienced runners alike.
The event includes finisher medals, category prizes and a drinks voucher for all finishers, with the race entry also including admission to Weeton Show. Combining scenic running with a traditional village show atmosphere, the Rougemont Chase offers a unique and enjoyable summer race experience.
