The Maverick Adidas Terrex X & Ultra Jurassic Coast features two demanding trail ultras across the Isle of Purbeck and the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Runners can choose between a 100K challenge with 2,463m of climbing and a 52K route with 1,107m of ascent.
Both routes tackle technical trails, steep climbs and descents, coastal paths and exposed ridgelines. The 100K begins at Hardy Monument and follows the South Dorset Ridgeway towards the coast, passing Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove before continuing into the Purbeck landscape. The 52K starts at Burnbake and explores highlights including Old Harry Rocks, Durlston and the trails around Corfe Castle.
Both courses are fully marked and supported by outposts along the way, with runners finishing back at Burnbake Forest Lodges and Campsite. The 100K has an 18 hour time limit, while 52K runners have nine hours to complete their route.
