The Intertidal is a 24.7K point to point adventure race across Jersey's exposed foreshore, starting at Long Beach in Gorey and finishing at St Aubin's Yacht Club. The tide dependent route crosses sand, shingle, rock, water gullies and promenade sections, linking six iconic coastal landmarks during the short window when the seabed is exposed.
Organised around Jersey's exceptional tidal range, the event requires runners to visit each landmark in sequence while carrying any mandatory kit and following the guidance of the race team. Participants receive race tracking and validation, a race bib, finisher medal, event photography, post race food and drink, and the option of an event T shirt.
The Intertidal brings together navigation, changing coastal terrain and the challenge of racing against the returning tide, offering a distinctive endurance event shaped by Jersey's unique natural landscape.
