The Drop Halifax
A navigation challenge near Halifax where participants are blindfolded, dropped at an unknown location and must find their own way back over 6, 10 or 15 miles.

This event removes all navigation aids, with participants surrendering phones, watches and maps before being transported by bus to an undisclosed drop point outside Halifax. Once released, the only objective is to return to the event centre on foot using personal judgement and route choice. Distances are measured as straight line drops of 6, 10 or 15 miles, with actual routes significantly longer depending on decisions made on the ground. The course is entirely self navigated with no markers or guidance, creating a demanding and unpredictable trail and urban navigation experience across the surrounding landscape of West Yorkshire.
