The Summer Ready Run is organised by Zig Zag Running and takes place at Ferry Meadows in Nene Park, Peterborough. This flexible distance timed challenge offers 4 hour and 6 hour events, allowing runners to complete as many laps as they choose and achieve anything from a 5K to an Ultra Marathon.
The course follows a 5.3K multi terrain loop through the woodland, lakes and parkland of Ferry Meadows on gravel paths and sections of grass. Runners can complete as many or as few laps as they wish, with the opportunity to rest between laps before heading back out onto the course.
The event features chip timing, a bespoke finisher's medal, a centrally located aid station at every lap and a welcoming event village. The straightforward loop format, excellent support and flexible approach make the Summer Ready Run an ideal choice for runners targeting their first 5K, Marathon or Ultra Marathon in a relaxed and supportive environment.
